The 2021 Ruffino Alauda Toscana IGT is a highly prestigious red wine produced by the historic Ruffino winery, founded in 1877 in Pontassieve. It is a "Super Tuscan," a Tuscan red that transcends the traditional rules of Chianti, designed to express complexity, elegance, and modernity. Alauda is a blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Sangiovese, vinified in stainless steel and then aged in French oak barrels, giving the wine aromatic depth and structure. The color is an intense and brilliant ruby ​​red. On the nose, notes of blackberry, plum, and black cherry emerge, enriched with spicy hints of vanilla, cocoa, and tobacco.
