The 2019 Gaja Barbaresco Sorì San Lorenzo is a Piedmontese red wine made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes from the Sorì San Lorenzo cru in Barbaresco. It has an intense garnet red color and aromas of ripe red fruits, flowers, anise, black pepper, and light balsamic notes. On the palate, it is elegant and harmonious, with fine tannins, good acidity, and a long finish. It pairs perfectly with red meats, roasts, game, and aged cheeses.
