Barolo Cerequio 2016 - Michele Chiarlo

The Michele Chiarlo Cerequio 2016 is a Barolo from the Cerequio cru in La Morra, produced exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes grown on calcareous-clayey soils of sedimentary origin with a favorable south-southwest exposure that ensures balanced ripening of the grapes. The wine has an intense garnet red color with slightly orange reflections and offers complex aromas of ripe red fruits, cherry, berries, dried rose, violet, sweet spices and light earthy notes. On the palate it is full and structured, with elegant and silky tannins, good acidity and a long persistence, suitable for tasting immediately but with excellent aging potential and perfect paired with red meats, roasts, game and mature cheeses.
