The 2018 Barolo Coste di Rose from Marchesi di Barolo comes from vineyards located on sandy, loamy, and calcareous soils with traces of fossils, on a hillside with excellent exposure. It presents a ruby ​​color tending towards garnet. The nose offers elegant and intense aromas of roses, licorice, delicate spices, and a hint of wild mint. On the palate, it is full-bodied, harmonious, and balanced, with medium-full body and refined tannins. Vinification involves approximately two years of aging in large Slavonian oak barrels and French barriques, followed by a period in bottle, allowing the wine to reach full maturity between 4 and 20 years after harvest. The 2018 vintage has garnered wide recognition, including 93 points from Robert Parker, 96 from Decanter, and 93 from James Suckling.
