Le Macioche is a small, historic Montalcino winery, founded in the 1980s and owned by the Cotarella family since 2017. The vineyards are located in one of the most suitable areas of the appellation, with cool exposures and soils rich in galestro (marl) that lend elegance and finesse to the Sangiovese. The 2018 Brunello di Montalcino perfectly expresses the balanced and not overly hot vintage, with a bright ruby ​​color and aromas of ripe cherry, violet, spicy notes, and balsamic hints.
