Argiano was founded in 1580 with the construction of Villa Bell'Aria, becoming one of Montalcino's historic estates. After centuries of family transfers, in the 1990s Countess Noemi Marone Cinzano and winemaker Giacomo Tachis gave it new life, making it a key player in the Tuscan winemaking renaissance. Since 2013, it has been owned by Brazilian André Esteves, with Bernardino Sani as CEO and winemaker.
