Tenuta San Guido's 2021 Sassicaia is a premium red wine from the Bolgheri Sassicaia DOC, made primarily from Cabernet Sauvignon with a small percentage of Cabernet Franc. It grows on well-exposed, sandy soils that favor optimal ripening and complex aromas. Tenuta San Guido is a historic winery in Bolgheri founded in 1940 by Marquis Mario Incisa della Rocchetta, who in 1948 planted the first Cabernet Sauvignon vines, inspired by the Graves soil, giving rise to the famous Sassicaia wine.
