Vistamare Ca' Marcanda 2022 - Gaja

The 2022 Vistamare from Ca' Marcanda – Gaja is a refined white wine from the Tuscan coast of Bolgheri, a region strongly influenced by the sea. It is made from a blend of Vermentino and Viognier, vinified separately to best showcase the distinctive characteristics of the two varietals: the Vermentino ferments in stainless steel to maintain freshness and minerality, while the Viognier ages in French oak barrels, enriching the wine with complexity and smoothness. After approximately six months of maturation, the two spirits are combined, resulting in a highly balanced wine. In the glass, it displays a luminous straw yellow with greenish highlights, while on the nose it releases intense aromas of yellow peach, citrus, and white flowers.
